1.    The event is at the very exclusive venue of Layer Marney Tower near Colchester. The evening includes champagne and canapĂ© reception, a 3 course gourmet meal, unlimited wine all evening, entertainment, dancing until midnight and an auction with 15  very special prizes  including:
·         The Olly Murs prize of 4 tickets to a summer show with a Meet & Greet plus an outfit from his recent tour.

Layer Marney Tower Gala Ball




Help us celebrate the South East Centre’s 10th anniversary at a gala ball in England’s tallest Tudor Gatehouse.
Built in the reign of Henry VIII, Layer Marney Tower is a statement house that shows its original owner was a rich and powerful friend of the King, who stayed there in August 1522.  Nicholas Charrington who owns and lives at Layer Marney Tower has kindly donated the house for this event.
The evening will start at 6:30pm with a champagne and canapĂ© reception, followed by a 3-course meal with unlimited wine throughout the evening.  The entertainment will include live music, a table magician, auction of unique prizes and the opportunity to dance until midnight.  This will take place in the beautiful Long Hall and guests can also enjoy the formal gardens, with views over the Essex countryside.
Tickets cost £110 per person or £1,000 for a table of 10.

Witham Town Mayor Quiz Night - Monday 31st October 2016


Cllr Patrick Horner will be hosting the Mayors Quiz night at the New Times Restaurant, 87 Maldon Road, Tiptree CO5 0BN on Monday 31st October 2016.


7.30pm for 8.00pm start


Teams of 4 - tickets £5 a head

All proceeds to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal – beneficiaries are Chelmsford and District Cardiac Support Group and Action for Family Carers – Youth Division.  Tickets available from the Information Centre at the Town Hall, Newland St, Witham CM8 2FE

19th July - Town Mayors Quiz night


The Town Mayor of Witham, Councillor Mrs Janet Money, is holding a Quiz Night at the Royal British Legion Hall, Newland Street, Witham on Saturday, 19th July – 7.30pm for 8.00pm.  This event is to raise funds for her Charity Appeal,  Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Renew. 

The tickets, £5.00 per person, are available from the Information Centre at the Town Hall.

Please bring your own tipples and nibbles.
